According to “No to Prison – No to Execution”, on Thursday, May 28, 2020, the Revolutionary Guards opened fire on a group of “Kolbars” in Khoy borders.
As a result, two Kolbars called Mohsen Darvishzadeh (married, father) and Ebrahim Jordizaj were killed by direct shots at the head, eyes and neck.
Without prior warning regime’s armed forces targeted and opened fire on these Kolbars.
Ebrahim Jordizaj was previously a store owner in his village, but due to the low income, he turned to the difficult and dangerous Kolbar job.
“Kolbar” work is created due to high unemployment, and its only cause is the government which has impoverished the Iranian people and has forced them to resort to high risk jobs, by taking away work opportunities.
These people risk their lives for just as much as a piece of bread and many end up shot dead by the IRGC or fall off the high cliffs. Most of them are educated and hold bachelor degrees.
According to news that have been published, during the past ten days five Kolbars have been killed by the IRGC.
