According to our sources, on Tuesday, May 12, the IRGC agents opened fire on a group of Kolbars at the ”Bardapan” border check point in Sardasht, and killed Kamran Mawlania , 32, married and father of a 5 year old daughter.
According to news that have been published (contrary to cases which remain unknown) during the past ten days, at least five Kolbars have been killed and numerous have been injured by direct shots of the IRGC. Another ‘Kolbar’ died when he fell from the cliffs.
In all these cases, the IRGC agents opened fire on ‘Kolbars’ without warning.
It is noteworthy that on Saturday May 9, 2020, the IRGC opened fire on a group of ‘Kolbars’. As a result, a Kurdish ‘Kolbar’ called Loghman Chahargousheh was killed and two others named Mansour Chahargoushe and Meysam Mohammadi were severely injured. According to a witness, the border guards even shot at people trying to help ‘Kolbars’.
‘Kolbar’ work is created due to high unemployment, and its only cause is the government which has impoverished over 80 percent of the Iranian people and has forced them to resort to high risk jobs, including ‘Kolbar’ who eventually end up shot dead by the same government officials.
