According to “No to Prison – No to Execution”, Rasoul Karimi Jalavand who was detained during the nationwide November uprising, was sentenced to 5 years by Kermanshah’s Revolutionary Court, on Sunday, May 31, 2020, charged with “acting against national security”.
Rasoul Karimi was detained by security forces in Dolatabad in Kermanshah and was released on bail after four months. He has been severely tortured by IRGC security forces during his four-month detention.
Another report on the same date says that Omar Khagzad from Shalim Jaran in Piranshahr, was arrested by security forces for unknown reasons and was taken to an unknown location.
He was arrested by beatings, without a warrant and for no specific reason.
Despite his family’s follow-up to the judicial and security centers of Piranshahr, so far no news has been received from Omar Khagzad.
Unpredictable arrests in Piranshahr began since last month and are still continuing.
“No to Prison – No to Execution” had previously warned of these arrests by IRGC security forces in Kurdish cities in Iran, and had announced the names of some detainees.
