“You killed my son for a piece of bread , at least be man enough to tell me where his body is!”
17th June 2020
Mr. Abu Bakr Abdollahpour, father of Hedayat Abdollahpour – a political prisoner who recently was secretly hanged – said in a message addressed to the judiciary:
“You killed my son for a piece of bread. You hanged him for 30.000 Tomans (≈ 2 euros), you know nothing of God and religion, at least be human enough to tell me what you did with his corpse?!”
It has been one week since the family got informed that their son was secretly executed and according to “No to Prison – No to Execution”, they are still in doubt about how their son died and remain unaware about the whereabouts of his burial place.
In a part of his message, Abu Bakr Abdullahpour has sought help of human rights organizations, including Amnesty International and the United Nations, to investigate the case of Hedayat Abdullahpour’s death.
He also said: “The government’s intention is mental and psychological abuse. You executed my child, at least show his grave to his mother and his young wife.”
Abu Bakr Abdollahpour’s full message:
“If they really executed my son, why don’t they show his grave to us? What did his wife and children do? His young wife, his six year old daughter, are they sinners? What crime did they commit? They (the government) say themselves “Islamic Republic”, I want them to recognize and act in Islamic and human ways. If my son really was executed, at least show his grave to his mother and his young wife. This is inhuman, which God and which Qur’an (religious book) claim so? Which prophet has confirmed such behavior? I would like to thank the Human Rights Organization and the United Nations. I demand actual “human rights” of the human rights Organization of Iran. Is this humanity or psychological warfare?
Mr. Judiciary! Which security? Didn’t you say these are high-risk inmates? Which risk? My child was after thirty thousand tomans (≈ 2 euros). Weren’t you the one who was talking? Are you the head of the judiciary or the Revolutionary Guards? The people are bereaved, they are unemployed and bereaved, they regret the revolution!
Mr. Raisi! Instead of you, I am ashamed for you! Shame on you! Which Islam? Be man enough, if you have executed my child, show his body!
You are sitting on the God sent prophet’s place – is this Islam? Is this what Islam is saying? Let Islam aside and be a human, be a man! What sin did a young man aged 27-28 who wanted no more but a piece of break commit that you had to hang him? I am ashamed instead of you.”
After one moth of complete silence, Hedayat Abdollahpour’s family got informed was secretly executed on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.
When his family went to the Implementation Unit of the Orumiyeh Judiciary, they were told that their child’s execution was carried out 20 days ago.
Neither his family nor his lawyer were informed about the execution.
Amnesty international has issued a statement on Friday June 11, 2020, for the Iranian authorities to urgently clarify the fate and whereabouts of Hedayat Abdollahpour, a Kurdish prisoner, after local authorities told his family that he had recently been secretly executed.
