IRGC forces cause the drowning of a Kolbar
On Monday, June 6, 2020, a young Kolbar* fell into a river and drowned due to being chased by the IRGC’s armed forces and escaping their shots.
According to “Kurdistan Press Agency”, a group of Kolbars were trapped by the IRGC forces in the Nowsud borders. To save themselves of the armed forces, they threw themselves in the river, but one of them unfortunately drowned and lost his life.
The young man, Ayat Yousefi was 20 years old and from the Zamkan village.
One of the Kolbars stated that the IRGC forces ambushed them and when they attacked, some of the Kolbars left their goods and jumped into the Sirvan River.
It is to be mentioned that the IRGC border guards opened fire towards a group of Kolbars on June 26 and killed Salem Soleymannejad and Tayyeb in this brutal act.
Davood Majidian was left wounded.
*“Kolbar” work is created due to high unemployment, and its only cause is the government which has impoverished the Iranian people by hoarding and stealing the nation’s resources and has therewith forced them to resort to high risk jobs, by taking away work opportunities.
These people risk their lives for just as much as a piece of bread and many end up shot dead by the IRGC or fall off the high cliffs. Most of them are educated and hold bachelor degrees. Click here to join our Telegram.
