Daily Brief of Human Rights Violation in Iran December 31, 2020, news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on the human rights violation in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Rasht- On December 31, Hasan Razaee a juvenile offender was executed at Rasht’s Lakan Prison. He was arrested in 2007 when he was 16.
Tehran- On Thursday December 31, branch 26 of Tehran court sent an email and a written order summoning civil activist, Ms. Maraym Sumqani to court. She is charged with “propagating against the Nezam.”
Zahedan– Eight Baluchi political prisoner are at the verge of execution one of them 16 years old at the time of arrest. The name of seven Baluchi political prisoners in imminent danger of execution are:
- Javid Dehqan Khold, about 30, in prison since 2015
- Elyas Qalandar Zehi, 25, being in prison close to 6.5 years
- Hasan Dahvari, about 33, being in prison close to 6 years and 6 months
- Molavi Amin Baluch Zehi, 26, arrested in early winter of 2016
- Molavi Abdolrahim Koohi, about 33, arrested in winter of 2016
- Abdolbaset Rigi, confined at ward 3 of Zahedan Central Prison.
- Denzo Chakeri, about 26, in prison for about 6 years.
Mahshahr- Hossein Zadeh Shye (Shenavi), 42, a photographer and cultural activist from Mahshahr was detained on Sunday December 30 by security forces and was taken to Ahvaz Intelligence Bureau’s detention center.
Tabriz- On December 30, Akbar Mohajeri a Turk activist was tried at Tabriz Revolution Court.
Kargun Port- A Baluchi fuel seller, Milad Mallahi was wounded when security forces shot at a group of them when they were filling their gallons. There is no news of his health so far.
Sanandaj- An inmate, Saeed Mohammadi Fard from Kermanshah is taken to solitary confinement to be executed. He is charged with murder. Saeed is 35 and has two children.
Tehran- Tehran Revision Court has sentenced nine Baha’i citizens on charge of “propagating against the Nezam through propagating the Baha’i religion and being active in it” to overall nine years. They are: Hooman Khoshnum, Ms. Elham Salmanzadeh, Payam Shabani (Sha’bani), Kianoosh Slamanzadeh, Soroosh Agahi, Parvan Ma’navi, Ms. Jamileh Pakroo (Mohammad Hosseini), Paymun Ma’navi and Ms. Neda Shabani (Biok Aqaee)
Yazd- Political prisoner Zainab Jalalian is serving her 13th year of a life-in-prison sentence in exile in Yazd Prison. Miss. Jalalian has said that at the time of her detention she was tortured being lashed on her soles, punched in her stomach, her head being smashed to the wall and being threatened to rape.
Ahvaz- Sahba (Lamia) Hamadi from Sosangerd was taken to Ahvaz Sepidar Prison on December 30, to serve his term. He was detained on early fall of 2018 after an armed attack on armed forces parade in Ahvaz simultaneous with the detention of many Arab citizens in Khuzestan by security forces. After a month of interrogation at Evin Prison and Ahvaz Intelligence Bureau’s detention center he was transferred to Ahvaz Sepidar Prison. He is born in 1999. He is married and is studying agriculture engineering.
Ahvaz- Ali Zaheri Sari, a local of Ahvaz is sentenced to 15 years in prison. Mr. Zaheri Sari was detained in late winter of 2020 four months after his father, brother and sister were detained by Ahvaz Intelligence and was taken to Shaiban Prison.
Urmia- On Thursday December 31, Kurd citizen, Aziz Nasiri, from Urmia was freed on a 500 million tomans bail till the end of his trial. He is charged with cooperating with Kurdish parties.
Mashhad- Three prisoner of conscience and political prisoners at Mashhad Prison are suddenly taken to an unknown location. There is no news of their faith. They are Hamid Rustbaula, Mohammad Ali Arayesh and Kajir Sa’adat Jahani who were transferred from ward 6-1 of Vakil Abad Prison. Click here to join our Telegram.
