Daily Protests and Rallies in Iran January 2, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on protests and rallies happening in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Yasooj- On Saturday January 2, nurses who fought coronavirus in Yasooj protest the fact that as their contract is over the Medical Science University is no longer hiring them. Their banners read: “Unemployment is not what we deserve for the sacrifice we made” and “We defeated coronavirus but have lost our job”.
Karkheh forests- Environmental activists gathered in protest to cutting 2000 trees from Karkheh National Park to build a barrage on Saturday January 2.
3000 more trees will be cut for this barrage.
Shiraz- On January 2, a group of Health Ministry’s personnel gathered in front of the governor office in protest. Their banners read:
“In the worst conditions we came to your help. But in our worst conditions you left us alone. We want our rights.”
Yazd- Teachers gathered in protest again on Saturday January 2, in front of Yazd governor office as the promises given to them were just hollow ones.
