Daily Protests and Rallies in Iran January 23, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on protests and rallies happening in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Dehloran- On January 23, workers of Dehloran’s cement factory gathered in protest for the fourth day not receiving their arrears.
Qazvin- In protest to the fact that their drinking water has been cut, the locals of Ahmad Abad Latalmot-e-Gharbi gathered in front of the Qzavin governorate. 4000 pipes have been closed and the villagers have to carry their water in gallons. This village is located in 55 km distance from Qazvin City.
Abadan- Some contract workers of Abadan oil refinery want their employment status to be changed. The maintenance forces of this refinery known as Orhal Forces gathered on January 23 in front of the refinery. About 300 workers were participating and they said they await this change.
Saravan- On January 23, truck drivers in Saravan gathered in protest in front of the city’s governorate as their fuel cards are void. They want to know the reason and they want the coding be lifted. One of the drivers said: “This is not the first time they are voiding our fuel cards and are coding it. Each time we have to pay a great amount of fine to reactivate them.”
They criticized illegal pressures of the government bodies on the citizens, called it an obvious discrimination and a separate law for the people of Sistan & Baluchistan Province.
