Daily Brief of Human Rights Violation in Iran March 2, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on the human rights violation in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Meshkinshahr- Rokna news agency reported that death penalty and lashes issued for two offenders in Meshkin Shahr has been upheld by the Supreme Court.
Behbahan- A court in Behbahan sentenced three detainees of November 2019 protests to 13 years in prison. Sattar Afshinpoor, Bahman Amini and Mohammad Tayebi are each sentenced to 74 lashes too. According to the court’s ruling, Sattar Afshinpoor is sentenced to 11 years in prison and 74 lashes on charge of “destroying and torching banks and public sites as well as disrupting the public order.” The two other detainees are each sentenced to a year in prison and 74 lashes on charge of “participation in disrupting public order.”
Irak- At dawn of Friday February 26, 2021, a youth, Ahmad A’araji, 25, confined at Irak prison since 2016 on charge of murder was executed. No media has posted the news.
Karaj- On Wednesday February 17, 2021, a man charged with three murders was executed at Karaj Rajaee-Shar Prison.
Iran- The head of Isfahan Province Hicking Board banned women from practicing climbing rocks in Sefic Mountain.
Urmia- On Tuesday March 2, 2021, Fraidon Moosapoor from Rabat City in Sardasht County was transferred to Urmia Prison after his interrogation was over. He was detained on January 9, and was taken to the IRGC Intelligence detention center in Urmia.
