Daily Brief of Human Rights Violation in Iran March 27, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on the human rights violation in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Semnun- After one day of exile to the Semnun Prison, political prisoner Mrs. Maryam Akbari-Monfared was interrogated by MOIS agents and then amid lack of sanitary gears, not having access to her personal belongings, and without compliance with the principle of Separation of Crimes, she was taken to the public ward of this prison. Mrs. Akbari-Monfared was transferred from Evin Prison to Semnun Prison on March 9, 2021. Serving her 12th year in prison, she has not have even one day of furlough.
Urmia- Somayeh Qoraishi from Urmia is sentenced to jail on charge of “cooperating with PMOI/MEK” and it is for six months that she is confined at Urmia Central Prison, women ward, to serve her 18 months in jail.
Urmia- I’din Morudkhani from Urmia and a member of the country’s Researchers Organization was detained in his residence in the morning of March 25, 2021, by security forces. He is taken to an unknown location.
Naqadeh- Political prisoner from Piranshahr County, Keyvan Nezhad-Rasool, returned to Naqadeh prison as his furlough was over. This citizen was detained by IRGC on December 10, 2018, on charge of “membership and cooperation with a Kurdish party” and was sentenced to five years in prison in mid-winter of 2019.
Tehran- Political prisoners, Khaled Pirzadeh, a champion in body building, had a drop in his blood pressure and felt very fatigue after two weeks of hunger strike; he was taken to prison’s infirmary.
Minub- Kurd political prisoner, Kamal Sharifi who is confined for 13 years now without even one day of furlough on charge of “Moharebeh” (enmity with God), wrote a letter about his sufferings. The letter reads in part:
In the name of Love and in the name of freedom,
Are you still here? This is a sentence I have heard more than hundred times from those who have been released from prison and jailed again; asking me in astonishment…It is for 13 years that I am suffering from digestive problems, prison’s food that has no nutrition value, living with addicts and tolerating the smell of opium and bang (a kind of narcotics) …
Tehran- Mrs. Sara Ahmadi and Homayoon Zhaveh, Christian Converts were summoned to Evin Parquet to serve their terms. They were sentenced in mid-fall of 2020 by Tehran Revolution court to an overall sentence of 14 years in jail.
Tehran- After a month passed his arrest, Mohammad Iran-Nezhad residing in Tehran is still kept under detention. Mr. Iran-Nezhad was detained on February 21, 2021, by security forces in Tehran and was taken to an unknown location. His family’s referral to Evin Parquet to find something about his whereabouts and charges was in vain and the general assistant prosecutor for political prisoners said he knows nothing about that. He has told Mr. Iran-Nezhad’s family that his name is not registered in Evin Prison’s system.
Karaj- Political Prisoner, Abdolrasool Mortazavi, was exiled from Evin Prison to Karaj Rajaee Shahr prison last week. After this transfer he is kept in a cell in which his confinement does not comply with the principle of Separation of Crimes.
Jahrom- The corrupt rule of Velayat-e-Faqieh is conducting a new slavery by using prisoners, including at Jahrom Prison. Its elements at this prison make the inmates to work from morning till 2 pm for the Prisons Organization without even paying one rial to them calling them “Jihadi Inmates”!
