Daily Brief of Human Rights Violation in Iran March 29, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on the human rights violation in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Fonooj- A local of Fonooj County, A’lam Raisi, was detained by security forces and taken to an unknown location.
Political prisoner, Arzhang Davoodi– The human rights center of No to Prison-No to Execution reported on March 8, 2021, that political prisoner, Arzhang Davoodi, 68, a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Management from Texas University, is deliberately translocated between various prisons so that no news of him would leak to the world outside. Mr. Davoodi has been incarcerated since 2003, for 18 years, without even one day of furlough under Khamenei’s dictatorship. He has been confined so far at Evin, Ahvaz, Bandar Abbas, Rajaee Shahr, Zabol and Zahedan prisons under the harshest conditions.
Mr. Davoodi is suffering from various illnesses such as diabetes and has lost a part of his hearing power and sight due to many tortures imposed on him.
Urmia- Ms. Sanoor Tamara from Salmus, who was detained by security organs last fall, has been recently taken to the women ward of Urmia Central Prison.
Sardasht- Amanj Karvanchi, 29, from Sardasht, is sentenced to 13 years in prison on charge of “membership in religious groups”. The decree was officially imparted to him at Urmia Central Prison on March 27, 2021.
Rasht- Political prisoner and prisoner of conscience, Hamzeh Dervish, on his 19th day of hunger strike is in dire health condition. An informed source said: “Mr. Dervish was transferred in his 11th day of hunger strike to the prison’s infirmary and was chained to bed in his hands and feet for five days for putting more pressure on him to break his hunger strike, but instead he went of dry hunger strike since March 27.
