Daily Brief of Human Rights Violation in Iran April 5, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on the human rights violation in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Urmia- 12 female prisoners in Urmia are facing death penalty. They are:
- Mohabbat Mahmoodi from Urmia
- Zahra Farhudi from Urmia
- Parisa Moradi from Bukan
- Nishtmun Mohammadi from Sardasht
- Golzar Ahmadian from Sardasht
- Farunak Beheshti from Takub
- Soheila Nematzadeh from Miandoab
- Mozhgan Abdollahi from Mahabad
- Zainab Khaled from Sardasht
- Mozhgan Azarpisheh from Urmia
- Tahmineh Danesh from Khoy
- Ziba ? from Bukan
Tehran- The coronavirus test for Baktush Abtin a member of Iran Writers Club has resulted as positive. Mr. Abtin is serving his 6 years in prison since fall of 2020.
Naqadeh- Sajjad Shahiri a civil activist residing in Naqadeh was detained and taken to the city’s prison to serve six months in jail after he was present at the Execution Branch for Sentences.
Minub- On Monday April 5, 2021, security forces in plainclothes and a normal car shot at a fuel porter’s car on Minub Road towards Goorband. The bullets hit the tire and the fuel porter was able to escape his death.
Tehran- The family of Ms. Nahid Taqavi an Iranian-German citizen announced that after 20 days that she was confined at the women ward of Evin Prison, she is transferred to solitary cells of ward 2A (belonging to the IRGC Intelligence). They issued a statement On Monday April 5, 2021, and said that the reason of this transfer is unknown and they don’t know anything about her health conditions.
