Daily Protests and Rallies in Iran April 1, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on protests and rallies happening in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Kut Abdollah- A group of municipality workers in Kut Abdollah gathered in front of the Khuzestan governorate on Wednesday March 31, 2021, to protest not receiving four months of their wages and the bonuses for the new year.
Cheram- A group of workers of Cheram municipality at Kohgiloyeh and Boyerahmad Province gathered in front of the municipality to protest against discrimination, not receiving their extra-hours-wages and long hours of daily work. In addition to long hours of work and discrimination, they protested against not being paid for extra-hours of work and 40% extra wage for working in holidays. Some of these workers work round the clock every other day. They also have to work on holidays but receive no money for it. They also do not enjoy any entertainment facilities.
Malekun- Vahid Banaee, Malekun’s mayor has fired 26 workers of the municipality. One of the workers said in protest: “During this economic condition I was dismissed and we are ashamed of our families. We are the victims of a dispute between the city council and the municipality.”
