Daily Protests and Rallies in Iran April 6, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on protests and rallies happening in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Tehran- On Tuesday April 6, 2021, a group of employees of Power Distribution Enterprise gathered in front of the parliament in Tehran to protest the status of their salary and their employment. They chanted: “Minister come and look, do something for us.”
Their placards read: “We are workers; we are not slaves.”
Khoramshahr- On Tuesday April 6, 2021, ABFA personnel in Khoramshahr gathered to protest the nonpayment of their arrears. They say they have not received their wages and other bonuses for three months.
Shiraz- In the morning of Tuesday April 6, 2021, retired workers of Telecommunication Enterprise gathered in protest in front of the province’s TV & Radio broadcasting as this organ has broadcasted a “false report”.
The protesters say that this report is unilateral and in a round table that was broadcasted after the report, they didn’t ask the opinion of the retirees’ representative.
1500 retirees of this enterprise have not received more than 200 billion tomans bonuses on the whole, for the last years of their services. After the enterprise was under crises in 2000s and was handed over to the Support Board for Industries, the management did not pay them the amount.
Graduated teachers protest- On Tuesday April 6, 2021, graduated teachers who object the omission of the years between their services from their retirement plan, gathered in protest. The protest took place in cities of Shiraz, Karaj, Bushehr and Isfahan.
