Daily Brief of Human Rights Violation in Iran May 1, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on the human rights violation in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Tehran- On May 1, 2021, the Global Labor day, Ms. Asal Mohammadi, Hirad Pirbodaqi and Saeed Malayeri were detained during the gathering in front of the Labor Ministry in Tehran. The number of the detainees is estimated more than 30 persons, some released a while later. Reports say that the security forces and the SSF were present at the place prior to the gathering.
Saravan- On May 1, 2021, three locals of Saravan County were detained by security forces and taken to an unknown location. Two of them are identified as Hayat Soori Zehi and Shamseddin Mazar Zehi. The reason of the detentions is not known.
Hooramun- A Kurd Kolbar (border porter) Rahmatollah Qadernezhad from Marivan County was severely wounded when shot at by IRGC forces in TahTah heights in Hooramun.
Tehran- 42 political prisoners at saloons 9 & 10 of the ward complex No.2 at the Great Tehran Prison (Fashafooyeh) are from the detainees of November 2019 protests of cyber activists; 21 of each group. They have received sentences from few months in jail to death penalty. Amongst them there are teachers, labor activists and those having connection with PMOI/MEK.
Amnesty Internationa- Amnesty International accused Iran with playing with “Mohammad Noorizad’s life” and “torturing him and sexually harassing him”. He is a film director and a political prisoner. It says that the prison authorities have injected an unknown material into his penis of this political activist eight times.
Karaj- Security forces beat and detained Manoucher Pakhtiar father of the slain protester Poya Bakhtiari. A great number of security forces raided his home, beat the residents and detained Mr. Bakhtiari. His family said that he was violently thrown into agant’s cars trunk and took him away.
Behbahan- Zainab Alipoor a Bahai citizen who was detained during last summer’s protests in Behbahan County by security forces was summoned to the Public and Revolution Courthouse. She must be present within five days at inquiry branch No.3 of this courthouse.
Sanandaj- Following the wave of arrest of Kurd citizens in Sanandaj, two other locals were detained and taken to an unknown location. The name of these two youths are Kaveh Menbari and Shirkoo Menbari sons of Mohammad.
Mehrestan- Security forces detained a Baluchi, Mehran Dahani from HizAbad Village of Mehrestan County.
Behbahan- Farzaneh Ansarifar residing in Behbahan, who is the sister of Farzad Ansarifar, slain during November 2019 nationwide protests, was summoned to Behbahan Public and Revolution Courthouse. She was formerly summoned to that courthouse on November 2020 along with 70 other citizens to be inquired about some charges.
Tehran- Reza Taleshian Jelodarzadeh a journalist confined at the Great Tehran Prison went on hunger strike since Wednesday April 28, 2021, in protest to the fact that none of his requests were met. He is serving a three-years term in that prison.
Behbahan- At least two former detainees of the November 2019 protests in Behbahan; Ali Kazemi and Milad Ramezani were summoned.
