Daily Brief of Human Rights Violation in Iran May 11, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on the human rights violation in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Zahedan-Yasin Qasemi Bejed a writer, poet and translator will be tried on May 20, 2021, at branch 2 of Zahedan Penal Court. Also on May 11, he was tried for a part of his case at this court and the sentence of prohibition of prosecution was issued for him.
Varamin Qarchak Prison- Political prisoner, Saba Kurd-Afshari, confined at Varamin Qarchak Prison who is on hunger strike since Saturday May 8, 2021, to protest escalated pressures on her family and other political prisoners and demanding the release of her mother, Raheleh Ahmadi, wrote a letter on May 11, describing her reasons for the strike.
The letter reads in part: “A 23-year-old girl that you have stolen her youth and destroyed her life; should she fear of anything else then? I have tasted all your brutality and I have felt it! Is there anything else that I should witness?”
Behbahan- Majid Khademi and Mehran Qareh-Baghi two political prisoners confined at Behbahan Prison will be put on trial on June 26, 2021 at Mahshahr Revolution Court. The former session of their trial was held on April 25, at the same court. The two were detained by agents of IRGC Intelligence on January 18, 2020, and were taken to Behbahan Prison after a month of interrogation.
Behbahan- Through a communique, Ms. Farzaneh Ansarifar, sister of Farzad Ansarifar slain by Iran regime during November 2019 protests, residing in Behbahan, was summoned to the Behbahan Public and Revolution Courthouse on Sunday May 9, 2021. She must introduce herself within five days to this branch.
Tangsir- After two weeks of detention there is still no news of three Kurd citizens: Aram Moradian, son of Othman; Amir Rezaee, son of Jamil; and Arash Ahmadi, son of Nasser, from Tangsir Village in Zhavrood region of Sanandaj.
Journalists Protection Committee- In a register provided by Journalists Protection Committee and Free Union of Press, the name of Kasra Noori is included beside the names of Journalists from Mozambique, Bahrain, Vietnam, Egypt, Brazil, India, Uzbekistan, Belarus and Russia who are in danger for their “human rights activities”. Kasra Noori is a Gonabadi Dervish confined at Shiraz Adel Abad Prison who was transferred to Evin Prison in Tehran in early winter of 2021. He was once more transferred to Shiraz Adel Abad Prison on March 19, after the inmates of Evin, Adel Abad and Fashafooyeh (the Great Tehran Prison) prisons coordinated for a hunger strike.
The Great Tehran Prison- Dr. Nasser Fahimi a political prisoner of conscience confined at the Great Tehran Prison for 11 years, wrote a letter addressing Michele Bashlete, the UN High Commissioner of Human Rights. In his letter he has called for heavy rulings by this commission to isolate the Iran regime through human rights organization, especially the UN.
