Daily Brief of Human Rights Violation in Iran May 17, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on the human rights violation in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Isfahan- At dawn of Monday May 17, 2021, Mehran Narooee was executed at Isfahan Prison for narcotic related charges.
Ahvaz- On Saturday May 15, 2021, Farzaneh Zailabi, the lawyer of Haft Tapeh case was herself under inquiry at Ahvaz courthouse. Naser Zarafshan, her lawyer said: “My client is under inquiry for defending the workers of Haft-Tapeh”. He added that a bail has been appointed for her release and she is deprived for six months of acting as a lawyer.
Baneh- On Monday May 17, 2021, Yousef Amini a Kolbar (border porter) from Nanoor Village in Baneh was wounded at his back when Iran regime’s military forces shot at him at Baroyshkani border region of this county. This Kolbar was shot at without any warning.
Tehran- The families of the victims of flight 752 of the Ukrainian Airline gathered on Sunday May 16, 2021, in front of the Armed Forces Judiciary Organization. They want three high rank security and military officials to be indicted.
Hamed Ismailion the spokesman for the families of the victims posted on social networks that these families had formerly filed a complaint against Amir Ali Hajizadeh the commander of IRGC Air-Space, this time they filed a complaint against Ali Shamkhani, the Secretary of the High Council of National Security; Hossein Salami, the commander of IRGC and Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, the commander of the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces at the courthouse.
Mohammad Noorizad- According to reports from the Global Association to Preserve Human Rights, seven MPs from European Parliament, issued a statement in regard with the dire condition of Mohammad Noorizad at a prison in Islamic Republic of Iran and called for his immediate release. Their statement reads in part that it is clear the Iran’s officials conduct vicious behavior at the prison against him, torture him and deprive him of any essential medical care that a patient with heart problems need, so they are jeopardizing the live of this famous director,68, who is a defender of human rights. We remind the Iranian government that they are the sole body responsible for Mr. Mohammad Noorizad’s live and security. In addition to that, as long as Mr. Noorizad is at the prison, the responsibility of any unpleasant event that might come to him is on them.
