Daily Protests and Rallies in Iran May 26, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on protests and rallies happening in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Oil industry on protest
On Wednesday May 26, 2021, official employees and workers of oil industry in Tehran, Khark Island, Gachsaran, Abadan, Asalooyeh, Ahvaz, Bahregan, Mahshahr, Lavan and Bushehr, gathered in protest on a call for the act.
In Ahvaz, they protested in front of the entrance No.3 of the oil reach regions of the south. They are not consent with the amount of raise in their wages.
The placard of protesters in Bahregan read: “Working in operational regions in land and see equals selling our lives. We will not pass on our rights,” and “The unjust limitation in raise in our wages must be lifted.”
Also the gas employees of Asalooyeh Pars Region chanted: “Today is our mourning day and our livelihood is blasted.”
Isfahan- Drivers of trucks carrying around poultry and now out of job for shortage in that, gathered in protest in front of Isfahan’s Governor Office.
Ahvaz- Farmers and Palm tree orchards’ owners of Gambooeh District (between Ahvaz and Hamidieh cities) gathered in protest in front of the District Office. The water to their lands is cut.
Ahvaz- On Tuesday May 25, 2021, a group of workers of ABFA Company for rural sections of Khuzestan gathered in protest in front of Khuzestan Water and Sewage Enterprise in Ahvaz demanding their rights.
The protesters, more than 600, announced: “After the rural section was merged into the urban section, no contract has been signed with us. It is for three years that we have not received our premiums and we have to pay for all our medical needs.”
