Daily Brief of Human Rights Violation in Iran June 8, 2021 news obtained by the Human Rights Center of No to prison, no to execution on the human rights violation in different cities of Iran during the past 24 hours.
Shiraz- Afkari brothers- In an urgent action, the Amnesty International wrote in part: It is for several days that the MOIS agents cover the head and face of Habib Afkari (brother of the slain wrestler Navid Afkari, executed last year by the Iran regime) with plastic bags until he feels suffocating. An official report dated October 30, 2019, wrote that his left shoulder is dislocated and there is signs of breakage in his left wrist and one of his toes.
The authorities have tortured Afkari brothers time and again to make them confess. They have been confined at solitary confinement for so long, have been beaten by fist, kicking and cable, have been threatened that their family members will be jailed, killed, raped or …to put mental pressure on the two brothers.
A voice message shows that Habib he has been brutally tortured and has had no opportunity at court to defend himself.
The Great Tehran Prison- Ali Sharifzadeh, lawyer to political prisoner, Sasun Nicknafas, confirmed his dead in the prison and said that he has died after being transferred to Firoozabadi Hospital. He added: “The coroner must look into the cause of death. And through legal due process we must see what the real cause of death has been.”
Baluchistan- On June 8, 2021, IRGC Intelligence forces attacked Jackigoor Village and detained to Baluch citizens, Milad Baram son of Abdook and Asef Baram son of Abdol.
Tehran- Shahrzad Nazifi, a Baha’i and the champion of women’s motor-cross matches and a coach in that is sentenced to eight years in prison by branch No.26, of Tehran Revolution Court on charge of administrating illegal groups with the intention to disrupt the country’s security. To complete her punishment, she must force-labor for three months, four hours a day, in taking care of mentally handicapped patients in coordination with Tehran Province’s Welfare General Bureau. She is also deprived of leaving the country for two years.
Tehran- Maziar Seyyed Nezhad, a labor activist was detained at his residence in Tehran by security forces on Monday June 7, 2021, and is taken to an unknown location. His three-year prison term was recently upheld by Khuzistan revision court.
West Azerbaijan- The chief of FATA (Cyber Police) of West Azerbaijan Province announced that a citizen in arrested in this province for posting provoking texts about the coming presidential election.
