The human rights center of “No to Prison- No to Execution”- According to IHR, at dawn on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, the death sentences of two prisoners, Rahmat Fereydooni, in Qom prison, and Sobhan Mollaie in Qazvin prison who were both charged with murder were carried out.
According to this report, Rahmat Fereydooni, who was sentenced to death on murder charges, was detained at Qom Central Prison.
Rahmat Fereydooni has been detained and imprisoned on this charge for the last four years and seven months.
Sobhan Mollaie, about 30, was executed at Qazvin Prison also on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. This prisoner was detained at Qazvin Central Prison (Chobindar Prison) and was sentenced to death on murder charges. The execution of the two prisoners has not yet been announced in any official source.
Considering the executions of these two prisoners in Qom and Qazvin prisons, at least 291 people have been executed since the beginning of 2021. It is worth noting that at least five prisoners were executed within two days on November 17 and 18.
