Number of executed people in Bandar Abbas increased – number of executions reached at least 400 people since the beginning of 2022
Number of people executed in Bandar Abbas increased by 2 people. So, number of executions since the beginning of 2022 reached a shocking number of 400 executions.
Iranian Human Rights Center, Monday, August 29, 2022, quoted by Haalvash. With the authentication of another prisoner,number of those executed in Bandar Abbas prison increased to at least two on Sunday, August 28.
Execution another Baloch prisoner
According to this report, at dawn on Sunday, August 28, 2022,execution of another Baloch prisoner named Saeed Sabki on drug charges carried out in Bandar Abbas prison. Earlier, the news of execution of another Baloch prisoner named Ismail Bargrizan with similar charges published in the same prison.
Saeed Sabki, 27 years old, the son of Mirdar, married, with three young children, and from Mohammad Abad village, Iranshahr.
In 2018, Saeed Sabki and Ismail Bergrizan arrested in Bandar Abbas in a joint case with drug charges and sentenced to death by Revolutionary Court.
These two prisoners transferred to solitary cell on Friday, August 26, to carry out death sentence. On Saturday, August 27, they had their last visit with their families.
It is worth mentioning that, based on the received reports, judicial authorities have put implementation of execution cases on their agenda as a matter of urgency. In a report on Wednesday, July 27, Amnesty International warned about terrible wave of executions in Iran and called for a halt.
Meanwhile, number of executions of Baloch compatriots is much higher than in other cities of Iran. During the two days of August 27 and 28, at least five Baloch citizens were executed.
Iranian Human Rights Center has condemned the implementation of illegal death sentences. And demands intervention of international organizations to stop these crimes in Iran.
Including the execution of this prisoner, number of executions since the beginning of 2022 has reached at least 400 people.
